Melodifestivalen 2008, part 1 (Göteborg)

Melodifestivalen is the swedish music competition were the swedish act for the Eurovision Song Contest is decided. The swedish competition is settled through the system of four heats, one "second chance"-round and one final. There are eight songs in every heat. The two most popular ones go straight to the final and the third and fourth song goes to "the second chance", were there as well will be eight songs after all the heats. The two winners of the second chance will as well get a place in the final, were there will be ten songs competing. And of course, the winner of the final is the one that sings in the Eurovision Song Contest.

Tonight was the first heat. My comments on tonight are as follows. I like the song "Line of fire" but really really really wish I could vote E-type out of it. Amy Diamonds song was really catchy, I like it! Christer Sjögren was very interesting. I read a critic who said; "you don't know if you should laugh or cry". I have to agree with that. Really really embaressing. But still, kind of funny... The other woman who gets to go on was just boring. Her song was so 90s. Especially Eva Dahlgren comes to mind. But were Eva has an awesome voice and an energy on stage this women, who I don't even remember the name of, had neither.

My favourite tonight was definatly Kristian Luuk so great! And a new talant was presented; Björn Gustafsson, his version of "What is love" was incredibly funny!!!!!!!
