Sun.

I never stop beeing amazed by the power of the sun. That my mood can turn into the best ever in an instant if I wake up and the skye is blue and the sun is shining. That I can feel filled with happines and joy just by feeling the sun touch my bare skin. Life just feels easier and better when the sun is shining. The hedonistic worshipping of the sun is not hard to understand. When I arrived in Copenhagen in August I heard people from other countries talk about the summer-dane and the difference to the winter-dane. I believe that's applyably to all nordic coutries. When the summer and the sun is here we go out and open up, to other people, the new experiences and to life in general.

Bruce we are coming!

Saturday the 26th of July is gonna be an awesome day! Or evening, technically. But anyway. I'm gonna be there. At Ullevi. And I'm gonna see and hear IRON MAIDEN LIVE! That calls for a huge WOHO!

I'm happy and it feels good. Life is good! Summer is coming! I'm sick. But I don't care! Life is also hard. But that's okay. It seems like the sky of life is brightening up so I'm happy! It's about time! Yeay! Summer 2008 here I come!

True love/ bringer of happiness and hope.

I found this song. Or it found me in the end of a BodyPump class is was flowing out of the speakers and in to my head, mind and heart as I was lying on the floor just relaxing. This is true beauty. And it makes me believe in love even more. Because I do believe in love. However impossible it seems for two people to be in the sam place and want eachother most of all at the same time, I do believe! I wount let ended relationships, heartbrakes and ended hopes stop me from believing. It's out there and it's possible for every single one of us! There will be someone who will make you feel that every word in this song is true, and there will be someone that will make me feel it to. For now I'm just enjoying the beauty of the song and the hope of love it brings.

Like the sun (click to hear and see the song!)

I tried to hide from you
but i failed
i tried to lie to you
but how i failed
and even in my darkest time
you gave me light
i never knew this kinda love could feel so right
when i'm in your arms
i find myself believe it
we could be anywhere
so i can keep on dreaming

(Chorus)
whenever your close to me, you`re like the sun
you feel like the sun
and everyday you telling me
i am the one
i am the one who makes you shine

and i know
whenever you want me to, i'll go
and even when your not with me
i feel you there
i only have to look and see
and i'll know where
when i'm holding you
the world can stop it's turning
you`re always gonna pull me through
and i won't be returning

(Chorus)
whenever your close to me, your like the sun
you feel like the sun
and everyday you`re telling me
i am the one
i am the one who makes you shine

you`re like the sun
you keep me warm
you`re telling me

when i'm in your arms
we can be anywhere

whenever your close to me, you`re like the sun
you feel like the sun
and everyday you`re telling me
i am the one
i am the one who makes you shine
your like the sun

I'm in love.

I'm totaly in love with the new Hellacopters CD; Head Off. It's so good! Nicke Andersson is a genius. I do hate him for putting an end to the band. But still. The cd is so great! And I just found out that it's actually a cover cd. But the way the put it together, performe on it and promoted it is just brilliant. Read more on: hellacopters.com

Favourite songs at the moment are: "darling darling" (still) "rescue" "no salvation" "in the sign of the octopus" and "midnight angels". "don't know about girls" is growing on me...

You know it's time.

You know it's time to clean when you you feet already have dirty under them by the time you put cream on them after a shower. That was about a week ago... know I'm at the stage of "ah i'll just leave it on the floor 'cause I'm gonna clean soon anyway". That's a really bad stage. If I hadn't started cleaning up yesterday by putting all of my stuff (and you who know me knows that it's usually a lot of stuff!) back in it's place. So I actually just have to dust and vacuum. Which I will. Tomorrow. I'm already looking forward to what it's gonna be like when it's clean. I'm gonna change my sheets and towels and everything! Sooooooo nice!!!!!!!!!!! Yeay!

Believe

But if I keep going on
It will never be impossible, not today
Cause I’ve got something to believe in
As long as I’m breathing
There is not a limit to what I can dream
Cause I’ve got something to believe in
Mission to keep climbing
Nothing else can stop me if I just believe
And I believe in me

Little by little?

This day is a bit better than the last ones. I don't know why and I'm not sure it means anything in the long run but so far it's been a nice day. I planning to have a lot of fun with my girlies tonight. But fun usually includes at least some amount of alcohol and that can take me either way. To more fun and happiness or down to teary lane. Actually a lot of the time to both, in the mentioned order. But let's hope tonight stays at the first level. And I guess that's partly in my own hands. I'm gonna be a good girl. I'm gonna behave. I'm gonna be wild and wonderful and happy and have loads of fun! (fake it 'til you make it, remember...)

A new pair of shoes.

I took a walk up to DinSko at my lunch break today and purchesed a new pair of shoes. I guess it's a huge surprise for everyone when I reveal that it's a pair of ballerina shoes! Like I don't have any before... but the thing about balleringa shoes is that they don't last that long so you actually need quite many to be set for a summer. But the buying of shoes today had actually now practial need at all behind it. I bought shoes to feel a bit more happy. I didn't work. It's a bit wierd actually. Shoe shopping usually gets me in a good mood. But not today. Not right now. But the shoes are so great though, so I'm very happy about them. That's something.

My new shoes :)

Head off.

I've gotten my hands on the new CD from the Hellacopters. It's said that this is the very last cd. After this year the group will quit. So this summer is also that last chance to see them play live. I hope I'll manage to catch them somewhere... Anyway. I haven't had the time to listen to it the cd that much yet, but darling darling is already a favourite.

Wild and Wonderful??

So... what's the deal with the new name? Wild and wonderful... okay I do have a history of pronouncing my greatness until my friends throw up on me but it's actually a difference here. Sure I have no problem claming to be both wild and wonderful anywhere anytime, but I usually don't need to. At the moment I really need to. I really need to tell myself that I am. Wild and wonderful. Because I wish I felt like it. I really don't right now. I feel like I'm a walking dead trying to get by one day at the time. I feel like I'm in a vacuum and that the usual happy, confident and social me is thrown far far away in to space. So I'm claming to be wild and wonderful everywhere I can. Fake 'til you make it, right?!

Oh, and also I was a bit fed up with the old title.

The most boring time of the day.

The most boring time of the day is definatly lunch time. I've always thought so. At least now I don't have to cook first, but still. Just sitting and eating some microwave heated crap (since I did cook it at some point). Even if there's people around they are usually busy discussing how many calories something has or reading a paper. Sometime I stop eating before I'm actually full just because I'm so bored of eating. Most of those time occurs at lunch. They are less since I started working though, probably because it takes more energy to work than to study so I'm more hungry, but still, they happen. My very best lunches are picnic lunches. I really like to eat like that in general, outside, in a park or on a beach. My favourite is bbq on the beach! Not much beats that! To enjoy a "real" meal I need really nice food and, or at least or, great company.

I'm lucky.

I know that I'm priviledged. In many ways. But recently I have had the luxury of experince new countries with friends who lives in these countries. To see a country with a native, or someone who's lived there, i definatly the best way. I realise I'm lucky and I'm thankful for all the great experinces I've had during this spring.

Yesterday I was lucky enough to have a friend who had a freind with a boat! A boat on a summer day in Stockholm can never go wrong! (at least not when we got it to start) Some really wonderful hours were spent seeing the beautiful capital of Sweden from the water side. Thank you guys for that!

Life.

Life is a complex thing. We spend so much time trying to figure it out. To get ahead. To get the most out of it. And some moments everything actually feels just perfect. But those moments are few, aren't they? At least in my experience parts of our lives are good and other are less good. They alter and change. But very seldom everything is great or everything sucks.

At the moment my career life is going great. My internship is awesome. It's loads to do and learn. It's hard work, especially since it's all in danish which means extra work to understand and be understud. But I'm so lucky to get to do this and I really hope I will get to stay. There is so much I can learn from this job and the people around me. This is what I want to do right now. So I'm working hard and keeping fingers crossed that they'll emply me after my internship.

My more personal life on the other hand is another matter. I guees it's natural that it get's kinda put on hold when all my energy is going in to all the new things at work. But still it's kinda hard. I feel far away from my friends and I miss all of you a lot! The few that are still here in Kbh are soon leaving, and then what? I'm so tired right now but I have to get my energies up and get out there and socialise, it's the only way. And I know I will. I'll meet new people. And I'll visit and get visits from my friends that aren't here. If moving here has taught me something it's that I can do anything and it will always work out fine. So I'm confident but tired. Which is kinda okay, isn't it?
