Something new.
I'm having my last breakfast in the apartment in Sydhavn. Today we move the last things and tonight we sleep in our new home in Nørrebro. Ι can't wait. It is time for a change, for something new. I have appreciated the time in Sydhavn. We've had a wonderful home here, and the time here has been a nessecary period of transition from an Erasmus-Copenhagen life to an everyday Copenhagen life. In away it's been a resting place away from the real world. But I think that we both are more than ready now, to get back in to town, to get back in to a life of activity, to get a new fresch start in a lot different ways. And that is what our new place stands for. It's an empty sheet and we can fill it with exactly what we want. We can keep all the best things from our Copenhagen lives and the rest we can leave behind. The feeling of a fresh start is an awsome feeling and I can't wait to get started with filling my room and my new life with the things I want in it.

Shower.
Cleanness is an interesting thing. I don't know about you, but when I'm really busy and stressed about something, like when I have an home exam, the last weeks of my theses or moving personal hygiene sort of falls on the priority list. You feel like shit any way, because of everything else so it feel like there's no real point in taking a proper shower and get the hair washed. I still remember exam week in january... But on the other hand it's stupid, because things always feel better when you're clean and smell nice. Anyway. Now I just stepped out of the shower, and I'm clean!

Birthday girls.
I think that today is the most birthday day of all to me. I have three friends with birthdays.
Happy birthday Claire!
Claire is the newest of the three friends, so it's my first Claire-birthday. I'm so glad to have met you. You are such a great person and so much fun! Thank you for being you Claire and thank you for giving me a more positive view on french people :)
Happy birthday Eva!
My german darling Eva! One year ago was an amazing day! Both weather wise and otherwise. I remember it was the first time me and Sophie came out to Øresund, to your place. We had these incredible yummy cakes and it was the first time we really talked to Anne. I think that this day a year ago was the starting point for the sluts and Sophie & her bitches. I miss all of you and those days so much. And Eva, yoyu are the cool one. You're smart and beautiful and so fucking cool about everyone and everything. Thank you for being you!
Happy birthday Sofie!
Of the three Sofie is the one I've known the longest. It's actually weird because we talked about it this summer, how long we've known each other and it's actually only 2 and a half years. Which seems ridiculous, it feels like I known you for ever. I have been through so much with you, you have been by my side for some of the biggest changes, descions and experiances of my life. I know for sure that all of it would have been much harder without you. And much more boring! I've had some of the most fun and ridicolous times ever with you! I only worry sometimes that you don't see your own greatness. You are an amazing friend, you are smart and beautiful and funny, you are honest and speak your mind, which are wonderful qualities and you are a great mum! I'm impressed by you and your achievements again and again. Thank you for being you!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY GIRLS!
Second night on the couch aka. faith.
I'm sitting in my couch having breakfast. Because it's not just my bed that is out of use at the moment, it's everything. Except my dear old couch. The place is a total mess and we're both trying to keep our senses and not break down too much. But it's hard of course. It's a stressful situation. So things like not being able to open the childproof lock of the floor cleaning stuff can easily push you over the edge. In to hysteria and crying or laughing. And when bigger things come along, like a problem with the new place and hence facing being homeless in one week from now, well... apparently the mind is not really built to also think of toilet paper at the same time. But we're both in the same spot and we understand each other and this tension and we know it will get better soon. I'm trying to keep the faith. Which sounds really weird to me. But I do believe that things always work out for the best, the way they're meant to. I've written about this before because it's actually a paradox since I also believe we make our own paths in life by the power of choice. And I'm also aware of the arrogance built in to the statement "everything will work out as it's supposed to". It's a believe that is not that hard to have for someone in my position, of course. But whether or not my believes make sense has to be put aside at the moment. Right now I need to think that everything will be fine. We both do or I'm thinking there will be a bloodbath in Sydhavn very shortly. And nobody wants that.

Sleeping on the couch.
I recently woke up after a night on the couch. Getting up means trying to step through the mess in what used to be my room. I can't say it's my room anymore. The few things that are left are the big furniture and otherwise there's brown paper covering the floor and painting supplies all over. In one week from now I hopefully wake up here for the last time. I can't wait. I wish it was today. But first I have the week from hell in front of me. 7 days of work including a friday until midnight. A lot of things to get ready during those hours. And after work it's full time packing and cleaning at home. So, one day at a time. Today is monday and soon I'm off to work. We'll start there and hopefully the week is soon over.

Changes.
I finally found the name I want for my blog, so the address is now changed to: http://thecphchronicles.blogspot.com/
I hope you still found your way here.
I hope you still found your way here.
Two no and one maybe.
The hunt for more tv-shows to follow continues. After this weekend I can sum up with:
As I've written before, Fringe is a yes. What I do want is a new series in the style of Gilmore Girls. There is Men In Trees, but it's quite unreliable and I don't even know when the third season is planned to start. Hopefully soon. Because even if it did loose a bit of the edge when Marin got her Jack, it's still a feel good series of high quality. I'm considering catching up on Criminal Minds, I always like it when I see it. And I also have hopes for the Joss Whedon show Firefly, which is supposed to be really good, even though it was cancelled really fast.
- The Tudors: no. Bored after 5 minutes. Just not what I'm looking for.
- The Sarah Connor Chronicles: no. Okay series, but basicly the same thing as the movies. Hiding and running from robots, shooting and fighting with robots, keeping John alive... not interesting enough. Gave it about 25 minutes. Could have seen the whole first episode but didn't see the point since I don't want to follow it.
- Cashmere Mafia: maybe. I've seen the pilot and I do like it. It's of course very much following in the foot steps of Sex and the city and I never got hooked on that and I'm not sure that I want to see this kind of series. But I did like the characters. So we'll see.

Fringe.
After finally catching up on Prison Break, finishing Heroes season 2, rejecting the Tudors after 5 minutes and one more week until the season premier of Grey's anatomy I needed something new to watch. I got my mind set on the new show Fringe. One of the men behind it is JJ Abrams from LOST so it felt promising. In the center of the series is the FBI-agent Olivia Dunham, the brilliant dr. Walter Bishop who spent the last 17 years in a mental institution and his son Peter Bishop with an IQ of 190 and a past that includes a lot behavoir balancing on the limit to froad. Dr. Bishops science is refered to as fringe science, pseudo-science and agent Dunham has to team up with him when she comes a cross a case that is something out of the usal.
After watching the double episode pilot and the second episode I have to say I like it. I like Olivia. And I think that the part of Peter Bishop really fits Joshua Jackson. Dr Walter is an interesting character in the edge in so many ways. There's of course a tension between Olivia and Peter, but very suttle so far since Oliva actually had a boyfriend in the pilot. I really like the Peter-Walter parts which are filled with a lot of different aspects. The lost father-son issue is of course of great importance, but also there's a great humour in the reactment between them. I'm looking forward to the next eposide on tuesday.

10 things I hate about you.
I hate the way you talk to me
and the way you cut your hair
I hate the way you drive my car
I hate it when you stare.
I hate your big dumb combat boots
and the way you read my mind
I hate you so much it makes me sick
it even makes me rhyme.
I hate the way you're always right
I hate it when you lie.
I hate it when you make me laugh
even worse when you make me cry
I hate it that you're not around
and the fact that you didn't call
But mostly I hate the way I don't hate you
not even close, not even a little bit, not even at all.

Stupid me.
I thought it could be fun to do some layout changes on my blog. Great idea... now it looks like shit and I'm to tired to do anything about it. Bare with me people. It will change again at some point.
Sleep.
I could sleep so easily right now. This tiredness is all over me, all inside me. It's a tiredness beyond physical tiredness. It's a tiredness at mind and heart. A tiredness caused by stress and no place for rest. I love riding in a car in the dark. In the passenger seat. With someone close to me behind the wheels and music filling up the car. When I'm out for a short drive under those circumstances I always wish that we could just run out of the familiar areas, out on the motorway and just drive south.

Death magnetic.
I hold it in my hand. It's fed in to my itunes. Soon also to my ipod (yes, the pink one). And then I'll be expecting to smile for a long time. Heavy listening is required. And I will get back.

A blur.
Some times I feel like I'm standing in the middle of a roundabout. With the traffic surrounding me. Moving faster and faster 'til it all is just a blur. And I know I have to get moving. That I can't just stand there. I know I have to figure out which direction that I'm heading and how to get there, how to get though the traffic. At times it slows down. The blur is fading in to shapes and people and I think that now is my chance. I start to look for my exit, the way to continue my journey. But then the world turns faster again and I'm surrounded by the blur again. Everytime I learn something. I pick up some information, get a glimps of my heading and I'm a step closer to my way out. But the steps are tiny and I'm not a patiant person. And I stand here. In the middle of the blur with a growing frustration. And I wonder if life always was like this?

Tired and lazy.
I'm having a lazy saturday which always is nice. Lying on my couch. Watching some tv series. Checking facebook in between. Going to the kitchen for a cup of tea or the check out some hot guys outside the window. You know just relaxing. But i'm also a bit restless. I'm restless about being tired. About working fulltime and never feeling completly rested out. I'm starting to get stressed about moving. And all the things connected to the move. Liek the fact that i have total lack of motivation for cleaning my room since we're moving out soon, hence it looks like shit. Hence more restlessness... I feel like in transition. Waiting for the period of waitnig to pass and something new to start. Some of the new has started already. Some of it is coming soon. And for soem things it feels like the wait is going to be long and that's also starting to tear on me. But i small clean up of my room, a shower and some focus on the goods things that have started and this will end up being a nice day for sure.

Shopping.
I've been totally bored with my wardrobe lately. Like the way when everything just feels old, boring and uninspiring. Usually all it takes is to go out and get a few new things and everything feels fun again. So, today was a shopping day. Since Gina Tricot finally opened in Copenhagen that's we I headed after work. I ended up buying way more than I planned, BUT, since we SAVED so much money on not having to pay double rent when moving I afforded it and deserved it (my mind is truly brilliant when shopping is involved).
When leaving the store my Gina-bag was filled with:
- 1 black cardigan
- 1 black dress
- 3 singlet tops (black, white and pink)
- 1 rockish sleeveless top
- 1 sleeveless top with butterflies and nice buttons
- 1 white top with short sleeves
- 3 pair of panties
- 1 pair of pink leggings
- 1 black hat
Total cost: 849,-
= I'm very happy!

Still need:
- 1 or 2 new bags
- more colourful leggings/tights and socks to match with the dress
Still want:
- Boots/shoes for the fall and winter.

Summer is no more.
I realised that the summer is officially ended today. It's September and the summer months flew by in incredible speed as I knew they would. It's been a really great summer! Even though august hardly counts as summer. Fall came upon us already the 2nd of august and my skirts and dresses stayed unused in my wardrobe. No hope is over for this year. I'm sure we have some really beautiful fall days ahead. Sunny and wonderful. But the wind has a different kind of edge in it that doesn't belong to the summer and the thinnest smallest clothes stay in the closet until next year, together with the bikini and the flip flops. I love the sun and the warmth so of course it's sad to realise it's really over. But still. I have high hope for this fall. I don't expect to reach the highs of last year, but come on that was the best time of my life and it's not really fair to compete. But I think this one very well could be a good second. We'll just see.
I went to my first capoeira class ever today. First impression: I really like it! I'll get back with more reports.
